Well, I did forget at least one item in my multi-part DIY series on matting and framing. I thank those of you who contacted me with the wake-up question: How about cutting glass?
I had already covered the technique of cutting Plexiglas in a previous newsletter. Cutting glass is actually easier in some ways. However, people are rightfully afraid of the danger of working with glass and that keeps many photographers from even trying. I'll point out safety tips here as I walk you through the process. But, Like all other aspects of photography (and life), practice will give you confidence and better results.
