Stacked print finished and assembled
Finished stacked print. An especially great way to mount and present matt fine art papers such as this handmade Awagami Bizan.

In Part One of this two-part series, I reviewed making the frame, since the framing sticks used for stacked prints differ from traditional framing wood which has a rabbet to hold the glazing, mat and backing board. Stacked displays are open framed and so do not have glazing or mats (although one can make a stacked display with glazing, but that’s a different approach (shadow box) which I’ll cover in a future DIY).
