In my talks to photographers, in all our workshops, and in our videos, we often emphasize that our work as photographers doesn’t end with the print. Yes, fine art printing itself is a worthy goal, since only a minority of photographers make prints. But there is more.
Bob and I believe that a critical step beyond the print is its presentation; how we choose to present that print on the wall. So in this DIY (Part One of a two-part DIY), I’ll introduce you to what I call a stacked display.
As I prepped for this DIY, it dawned on me that I should discuss a few points and share some tips on what you must put in place before actually attacking the stacked display. I need to point out that all the photos in this DIY were taken on my iPhone by me as I worked, so I can’t blame Bob for them being... ahem... mediocre.
