In a recent newsletter, my colleague, Bob, wrote a piece on print contests, and that generated a lot of comments. I was particularly pleased that Bob suggested ways to improve print contests. Now I'm going to put in my two cents.

First, in the interest of full disclosure, I do judge a fair amount of print contests, local as well as international. In fact, Bob and I created an international print competition and exhibition a few years ago. We often discuss how we will apply what we learned from that experience to improving any future endeavor. Of course we will keep you posted on developments.
