A good Rotatrim is a great addition, though I would advance that a Logan Matt cutter is more affordable and useful for those starting out. The latter can cut prints and create matts whereas the former only cuts prints and other stuff.
I wouldn't completely disagree but... I cut more prints than I do mats so I guess I just went by total amount of use and I'd much rather cut prints with a Rotatrim...

Concur with this article. An essential piece of kit for those who print and absolutely not the place to cut corners cost-wise.

Bought mine maybe 10 years ago and its still cuts perfectly sharp.Seems you have a consensus, Bob. How often does that happen!
